Friday, July 16, 2021: TORONTO/DUBLIN: We depart Toronto for Dublin, the Capital City of Ireland. Overnight flight via Air Transat Wide Body Airbus 300, who boast of having the newest Trans-Atlantic Airbus Fleet. In-flight service includes hot meals, imported wines with Dinner and the most current in flight movies and music available. You must use your credit card for alcoholic drinks and duty-free items on the plane.

 

Saturday, July 17, 2021: DUBLIN/GALWAY IMPERIAL HOTEL DINNER: We land in Dublin this morning after seeing in the air why Ireland is called the "Land of 40 Shades of Green". After going through immigration and customs, we are met by our Driver/Guide for the week. We will have the opportunity to exchange money into Euros at the Dublin Airport. 

After meeting our Driver/Guide and getting settled on the bus we head directly to the Seaport City of Galway, Ireland's youngest city. We will arrive in Galway in the late afternoon and we will check into our hotel for the next two nights. 

Our hotel for the next two nights is located smack in the cneter of Galway at Eyre Square/Kennedy Square.

 

Sunday, July 18, 2021: GALWAY/CONNEMARA IMPERIAL HOTEL BREAKFAST: After our first Irish breakfast of eggs, sausage, toast, scones, bacon, cereal, coffee, tea, etc., our day will take us to the Connemara and the famous Connemara Marble Factory. We will find out how the beautiful green marble is quarried and have an opportunity to stop at the Factory.

We will continue our scenic drive in the Connemara Region and the Town of Cong. This is the area where the "Quiet Man" was filmed with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. 

In the afternoon we will head back to Galway and begin exporing this delightful seaside town. We will visit Galway Cathedral, Spanish Arch and Eyre Square renamed Kennedy Square after his visit to Galway in 1963.

We have the evening to this busy seaport town, tonight we would suggest going to McDonough's for Irelands best Fish & Chips.

 

Monday, July 19, 2021: GALWAY/KILLARNEY SCOTTS HOTEL BREAKFAST/DINNER: This morning we head South, and our first stop will be Rathbun Farm where we see a farming family carry out everyday chores. We will see sheep shearing, watch the sheepdog maneuver the flock and enjoy the best scones in Ireland. 

We continue our journey South to the majestic Cliffs of Moher, which rise 700 feet above sea level and stretch out for miles. We continue our journey to the old-world village and Adare noted for its thatched roof cottages, stores and restaurants. 

We arrive in the late afternoon to the magical village of Killarney noted for its lakes and mountains.

 

Tuesday, July 20, 2021: KILLARNEY SCOTTS HOTEL BREAKFAST: Today we discover the glorious Dingle Peninsula made famous by "Ryan's Daughter". We will drive along the Dingle coast to the western most tip Slea Hand for awesome views of the Atlantic. We will return to Killarney where we will have the rest of the day to enjoy Killarney's many pubs... Buckleys, the Laurels. O'Connor's, Murphy's, Tatler Jacks, just to name a few.

 

 Wednesday, July 21, 2021: KILLARNEY/KERRY SCOTTS HOTEL BREAKFAST:  After breakfast we will have the opportunity to take an optional jaunting car to Ross Castle and view Killarney's largest lake. The rest of the day is yours to explore everyone's favorite town Killarney... You may wish to visit Killarney National Park and the beautiful gardens of the Muckross House. Maybe golfing or horseback riding in Ireland has always been on your bucket list. How does a day of shopping sound? Today is your day in Ireland. Killarney is a great location to awander around & spend the day any way chose.

 

Thursday, July 22, 2021: KILLARNEY/DUBLIN RIU GRESHAM BREAKFAST: Departing Killarney this morning we travel southwest to County Cork into the magical Town of Blarney. You have the opportunity to visit the Blarney Castle to recieve the "gift of eloquence" for all those who partake. You will have the opportunity to visit the world-famous Blarney Woolen Mill and give you the chance for great buys on crystal, Belleek, tweed and linens and knit ware.

Then on to Dublin, "Europe's Fastest Growing Capital City". We arrive in Dublin in the late afternoon. We will enjoy a panoramic City Tour of Dublin enjoying the sights and sounds of this amazing and vibrant Capital. We will see the statue lined O'Connell Street, elegant Georgian Homes and Doors of Dublin, Trinity College, Phoenix Park and St. Patrick's Cathedral just to name a few of Dublin's many attractions.

 

 Friday, July 23, 2021: DUBLIN RIU GRESHAM BREAKFAST:  After breakfast this morning you have the option to head North to the Capital City of Belfast for the day. In Belfast you will have the opportunity to visit the Titanic museum. This is the world's largest Titanic museum, located next to where the ill-fated ship was built. The museum contains many of the original artifacts recovered from the ship. We also have some free time in the city of Belfast before heading back to Dublin for the evening.

The day day is yours free to explore Dublin. You may want to stroll along the famous Grafton Street where you can do last-minute shopping. Maybe you will want to visit the Book of Kells at Trinity College or the world-famous Guinness Brewery and Hop Shop.

On your last night in Ireland you may want to check out some of Dublin's pubs. You don't want to miss the Brazen Head, Ireland's oldest pub, The Temple Bar, Oliver St. John Gogarty, O'Donahue's, The Portehouse & O'Neills, to name a few.

 

 Saturday, July 24, 2021: DUBLIN/TORONTO/USA:  After breakfast we travel to Dublin Airport for some last-minute pints as we sadly bid frewell to the mystical land called IRELAND.

Saturday, October 9, 2021: DUBLIN: We land in Dublin this morning. After going through immigration and customs we are met by our Driver/Guide for the week. Upon departing Dublin Airport, we travel approximately 20 minutes to downtown Dublin, where we will have a panoramic Tour of "Europe's Fastest growing Capital City". We will see the General Post Office (GPO) on O'Connell Street, Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Phoenix Park, Kilmainhan jail.

After our tour you will have the rest of the afternoon to explore Dublin and its many sights. Maybe you may want to visit the Guinness Brewery or the Jameson Distillery. You may be interested in visiting Trinity College and the "Book of Kells" or Temple Bar, Dublin's Left Bank and the entertainment district. The choice of Pubs and restaurants are endless. Don't miss the Brazen Head Pub, Ireland's oldest pub.

 

Sunday, October 10, 2021: DUBLIN: After our first Irish breakfast of eggs, sausage, toast, scones, bacon, cereal, coffee, tea, etc., we will be on our way north-east traveling to the HILL of SLANE. This is where St. Patrick himself lit the first Paschal fire Ireland in defiance of the Irish King under penalty of death. Then a visit to the HILL of TARA, Ireland's political and spiritual capital and then on to TRIM CASTLE, the largest Anglo-Norman castle in Ireland, it was built by Hugh de Lacy when he was granted the Liberty of Meath by King Henry II in 1172. The rest of the day is yours to tour and shop in the city of Dublin and visit the places you didn't get to on your first day in Dublin. 

 

Monday, October 11, 2021: DUBLIN/GALWAY: After breakfast, our tour takes us west to the seaport town if Galway, Ireland's youngest city. Our next two nights will be spent in this busy and vibrant city. Upon arriving in the afternoon, we will be given a panoramic tour. Seeing such sights as Galway Cathedral with its mosaic of JFK, Eyre Square, which was named Kennedy Square after his 1961 visit; the Spanish Arch and the seaside resort of Salthill located on Galway Bay.

Tonight, you may wish to go McDonough's Seafood restaurant for what it Galway's best fish & chips.

 

Tuesday, October 12, 2021: GALWAY: After a leisurely breakfast we will take a scenic tour of the Connemara region, which is noted for its Gaelic speaking people. We travel along the Galway Bay via Kylemore Abbey for a photo stop. Continuing via the scenic countryside complete with the sheep crossing stops.

We have the opportunity to visit Connemara Marble Factory and see how this beautiful green marble is quarried and polished. We also travel through the charming village of Cong which is the location of the 1952 movie, The Quiet Man, with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. We arrive back in Galway City in the late afternoon where you will have free time to explore this delightful town.

Tonight, why not explore Ireland's youngest and most vibrant city and stop in at some of Galway's best pubs, The Quays, An Pucan, The Front Door.

 

Wednesday, October 13, 2021: GALWAY/KILLARNEY: This morning we are heading south toward Killarney for our next two nights. After departing Galway our first stop will be the unbelievable Cliffs of Mohr. These magnificent cliffs rise to a height of 700 feet above the Atlantic and stretch for a distance of 5 miles along the coast.

We continue south from the cliffs to the ferry port where we will ferry over the River Shannon to make our way to Killarney.

Dinner will be at the hotel this evening.

 

Thursday, October 14, 2021: KILLARNEY/DINGLE: After breakfast, our tour today takes us along the Kerry Coast to the Dingle Peninsula. Our first stop will be Inch Beach where Ryan's Daughter was filmed. On to Dingle Town for a time to explore this seaside town. Here you can get the "Best Fish & Chips in all of Ireland" at Harrington's. Our tour takes us to the Beehive Huts, Neolithic Age, 4000-year-old monuments, as we travel out by Slea Head at the tip of the peninsula. We continue on to Tralee on our way to Killarney. Dinner is on your own this evening. You may want to take in the traditional Irish show, or the Killarney nightlife.

 

Friday, October 15, 2021: KILLARNEY/MALAHIDE: This morning we will travel east back to the Dublin area for our last night.

Departing Killarney this morning we travel south to County Cork into the small magical town Blarney. Here you have the opportunity to visit the Blarney Castle to receive the "gift of eloquence" for all those who partake. You can also visit the world-famous Blarney Woolen Mills. The Woolen mills are the place for great buys on crystal, Belleek, tweeds, linens and knitwear.

Heading north our next stop is the "Rock of Cashel", a stately limestone outcrop topped with medieval ruins. This is the inauguration site of the Munster Kings including High King Brian Boru!

Our next stop will be in the Malahide, our last night in Ireland.  

 

Saturday, October 16, 2021: DUBLIN/TORONTO/USA: After breakfast we transfer to Dublin Airport. We will have the opportunity to do some last-minute shopping at the famous duty-free shop at Dublin Airport. After a few last pints in the airport, we sadly bid farewell to the mystical land they call IRELAND
