We depart Toronto for Dublin, Ireland. Overnight flight via Air Transat A321neoLR. In-flight service includes hot meals, imported wines and the most current inflight movies and music. Headsets, drinks, duty free liquor can be purchased on the flight to Ireland. You must use a credit card for any in-flight purchases.
Saturday August 5, 2023 DUBLIN-GALWAY

We land in Dublin this morning after seeing from the air why Ireland is called the "Land of 40 Shades of Green". After going through immigration and customs, we are met by our Driver/Guide for the week.
After meeting our Driver/Guide and getting settled on the bus we head West to the Seaport City of Galway, Ireland's youngest city. We will arrive in Galway in the late afternoon, and we will check into our hotel for the next two nights.
Our hotel for the next two nights is located in the center of Galway at Eyre Square/ Kennedy Square.
Sunday August 6, 2023 GALWAY / CONNEMARA

After our first Irish breakfast of eggs, sausage, toast, scones, bacon, cereal, coffee, tea etc., our day will take us on a scenic tour of the Connemara Region, which is noted for its Gaelic speaking people. We travel along Galway Bay via Kylemore Abbey for a photo stop. We keep onour day via the scenic countryside complete with the sheep crossing stops.
In the afternoon we will head back to Galway and begin exploring this delightful seaside town. We will visit Galway Cathedral, Spanish Arch andEyre Square renamed Kennedy Square after his visit to Galway in 1963.We have the evening to explore in this busy seaport town.
Monday August 7, 2023 GALWAY/KILLARNEY

This morning we head South, to the majestic Cliffs of Moher, which rise 700 feet above sea level and stretch out for miles.
We continue our journey South with a stop in Bunratty and will arrive in the late afternoon to the magical village of Killarney noted for its lakes and mountains.
Dinner will be in our hotel this evening.

Today we discover the glorious Dingle Peninsula made famous by "Ryan's Daughter". We will drive along the Dingle coast to western most tip, Slea Head for awesome views of the Atlantic. We will return to Killarney where we will have the rest of the day to enjoy Killarney 's many pubs..., the Laurels,O’Connor’s, Murphy's, Tatler Jacks, just to name a few.

How does a day of shopping sound? Today is your day in Ireland. Killarney is a great location to wander around & spend the day any way you choose.

Departing Killarney this morning we travel southwest to County Cork into the magical Town of Blarney. You have the opportunity to visit the Blarney Castle to receive the "gift of eloquence" for all those who partake. The day also offers a visit to the world-famous Blarney Woolen Mill and will give you the chance for great buys on crystal, Belleek, tweeds, and linens and knit ware.
Then on to Dublin, "Europe's Fastest Growing Capital City". We arrive in Dublin in the late afternoon.

We will enjoy a panoramic City Tour of Dublin enjoying the sights and sounds of this amazing and vibrant Capital. We will see the statue lined O'Connell Street, elegant Georgian Homes and Doors of Dublin, Trinity College, Phoenix Park and St. Patrick's Cathedral just to name a few of Dublin's many attractions.
The rest of the day is yours free to explore Dublin. You may want to stroll along famous Grafton Street where you can do some last-minute shopping. Maybe you will want to visit the Book of Kells at Trinity College or the world-famous Guinness Brewery and Hop Shop.
On your last night in Ireland, you may want to check out some of Dublin's pubs. You don't want to miss the Brazen Head, Dublin’s oldest pub, The Temple Bar, Oliver St. John Gogarty, O'Donahue's, The Porterhouse & O Neill’s, to name a few.

We land in Dublin this morning. After going through immigration and customs we are met by our Driver/Guide for the week. Upon departing Dublin Airport, we travel approximately 20 minutes to downtown Dublin- there we will have a panoramic Tour of “Europe’s Fastest growing Capital City”. We will see the General Post Office (GPO) on O’Connell Street, Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Phoenix Park. After our morning tour you will have the rest of the afternoon to explore Dublin and its many sights. Maybe you may want to visit the Guinness Brewery or the Jameson Distillery. You may be interested in visiting Trinity College and the “Book of Kells” or Temple Bar, Dublin’s Left Bank and entertainment district. The choice of Pubs and restaurants are endless. Don’t miss the Brazen Head Pub, Ireland’s oldest pub.

After our first Irish breakfast of eggs, sausage, toast, scones, bacon, cereal, coffee, tea, etc., we will be on our way south traveling through the beautiful Wicklow Mountains to the Village of Glendalough. Here you will visit the 6th Century monastic settlement of St. Kevin. You won’t want to miss the ancient cemetery with its many Celtic Cross Headstones and you will see some round towers. Enjoy an Irish lunch in Glendalough before our picturesque ride back through the Wicklow Mountains returning back to Dublin. The rest of the day is yours to tour and shop in the city of Dublin and visit the places you didn’t get to on your first day in Dublin. Dinner is on your own this evening in Dublin with many choices available.

Leaving Dublin, this morning we travel South to County Cork into the small magical town of Blarney. Here you have the opportunity to visit the Blarney Castle to receive the “gift of eloquence” for all those who partake. You can also visit the world-famous Blarney Woolen Mills. The Woolen mills are the place for great buys on crystal, Belleek, tweeds, linens, and knitwear.
Heading north our next stop is the “Rock of Cashel” a stately limestone outcrop topped with medieval ruins. This is the inauguration site of the Munster Kings including High King Brian Boru!
Our journey will than take us north to Killarney where we spend our next 2 nights.

After breakfast, our tour today takes us along the Kerry Coast to the Dingle Peninsula. We will have time in Dingle Town for a time to explore this seaside town. Our tour will take us pass magnificent sights as we travel to Slea Head at the tip of the peninsula. We make our way back to Killarney. Dinner is on your own and you may want to do a Killarney Pub Crawl.

After breakfast we transfer to Dublin Airport. We will have the opportunity to do some last-minute shopping at the famous duty-free shop at DUBLIN AIRPORT. After a few last pints in the airport, we sadly bid farewell to the mystical land they call IRELAND.
