We depart Toronto for Dublin, the Capital City of Ireland. Overnight flight via Air Transat Wide Body Airbus 300, who boast of having the newest Trans-Atlantic Airbus Fleet. In flight service includes hot meals, imported wines with Dinner and the most current in flight movies and music available. You must use your credit card for alcoholic drinks and duty free items on the plane.

We land in Dublin this morning after seeing in the air why Ireland is called the "Land of 40 Shades of Green". After going through immigration and customs, we are met by our Driver/Guide for the week We will have the opportunity to exchange money into Euros at the Dublin Airport .
After meeting our Driver/Guide and getting settled on the bus we head directly to the Seaport City of Galway, Ireland's youngest city. We will arrive in Galway in the late afternoon and we will check into our hotel for the next two nights.
Our hotel for the next two nights is located smack in the center of Galway at Eyre Square/ Kennedy Square.

After our first Irish breakfast of eggs, sausage, toast, scones, bacon, cereal, coffee, tea etc., we will spend the morning exploring the delightful seaside town of Galway. We will visit Galway Cathedral , Spanish Arch and Eyre Square renamed Kennedy Square after his visit to Galway in 1963. We will have time in town to have lunch and get our 1st pint. In the early afternoon our day will take us to Connemara and the famous Connemara Marble Factory. We will find out how the beautiful green marble is quarried and have an opportunity to stop at the Factory.
We continue our scenic drive in the Connemara Region and the Town of Cong. This is the area where the "Quiet Man" was filmed with John Wayne and Maureen O Hara.
We return to Galway where we have the evening in his busy seaport town, Tonight I would suggest going to Mc Donough's for Irelands best Fish & Chips.

This morning we head South and our first stop will be Rathbun Farm where we see a farming family carry out every day chores.
We will see sheep shearing, watch the sheepdog maneuver the flock and enjoy the best scones in Ireland.
We continue our journey South to the majestic Cliffs of Moher, which rise 700 feet above sea level and stretch out for miles. We continue our journey to the old world village of Adare noted for its thatched roof cottages, stores and restaurants.
We arrive in the late afternoon to the magical village of Killarney noted for its lakes and mountains.

After breakfast we have the opportunity to take an optional jaunting car to Ross Castle and view Killarney's largest lake. Later in the morning we visit Killarney National Park and the beautiful gardens of Muckross House. Later in the afternoon time to explore everyone's favorite town ...Killarney...
This evening you will want to do a Killarney Pub Crawl....don't miss O'Connors, Murphy's Laurels, Tatler Jacks, just to name a few. Buchleys Bar in our hotel has great traditional music.

RING OF KERRY
Today's highlight is the breathtaking "Ring of Kerry". The scenery includes plunging cliffs and lush lakelands, granite mountains and sandy beaches of County Kerry, largest peninsula. There is plenty on which to focus your camera on here. Stunning landscapes and mountains doted with brightly colored farmhouses. We will visit Killorglin, Watermill, The Black Mountains and Spectacular Molls Gap.
This evening you won't want to miss Danny Mann's Pub located in the Eviston Hotel for real Irish Music featuring a different band every evening!

NORTH STAR HOTEL
Departing Killarney this morning we travel northwest to County Cork into the magical Town of Blarney. Here you have the opportunity to visit the Blarney Castle to receive the "gift of eloquence" for all those who partake. You will have the opportunity to visit the world famous Blarney Woolen Mill and give you the opportunity for great buys on crystal, Beeleek, tweeds and linens and knit ware.
Then on to Dublin, "Europe's Fastest Growing Capital City". We arrive in Dublin in the late afternoon where we check into our hotel where we will stay for our last 2 nights in Ireland.

NORTH STAR HOTEL
After breakfast this morning we will enjoy a panoramic City Tour of Dublin enjoying the sight and sound of this amazing and vibrant Capital. We will see the statue lined O'Connell Street, elegant Georgian Homes and Doors of Dublin, Trinity College, Phoenix Park and St. Patrick's Cathedral just to name a few of Dublin's many attractions.
This afternoon you are free to explore Dublin and you may want to stroll along famous Grafton Street where you can do some last minute shopping. Maybe you will want to visit the Book of Kells at Trinity College or the world famous Guinness Brewery and Hop Shop.
On your last night in Ireland you may want to check out some of Dublin's pubs. You don't want to miss the Brazen Head, Ireland's oldest pub, The Temple Bar, Oliver St. John Gogarty, O'Donahue's The Portehouse &O Neills, to name a few.

After breakfast we travel to Dublin Airport for some last minute pints as we sadly bid farewell to the mystical land called IRELAND.
